🎙️ Petit Petit Summit (13) Why Do People Think "They'd Never Kill Us"?
October 9, 2022 — Part 2
Is a "Population Reduction Plan" a Natural Conclusion?
Allan: I often wonder why so many people can't see through the lies surrounding the vaccine. Ultimately, I think it’s because they are under the delusion that "the state" would never kill its own citizens, that doctors would never kill people, and that educated scholars would never deceive the public.
Goro: Whoa, that’s a harsh way to put it.
Yūdai: No, that’s exactly what it is. Human history is nothing but a record of those in power and those with knowledge using and discarding the common people as mere tools. In the old days, when weapons were simple, commoners were the weapons themselves in wars fought by rulers to expand their domains or eliminate rivals. To win a battle, you gather many soldiers and think only about how to kill the enemy efficiently. You don't fret over the life of every single low-ranking soldier, nor do you care what happens to their families. If both sides have 20,000 troops and you lose 10,000 of yours but annihilate all 20,000 of theirs, you've won. But three out of four common soldiers conscripted into that fight will die. Even if they win and happen to be the one in four who survives, nothing good comes of it. They don't get to eat better food or lead an easier life. At best, they maintain the status quo. Thinking logically, risking your life for that is nothing but a loss—but people don't calculate. They just drift along with the flow around them.
Allan: True. But back then, I suspect the common soldiers actually knew that the rulers using them as weapons didn't care about their lives. Today, the people getting jabbed don't think that way. In post-war Japan, we started from zero—actually, a huge negative—and life kept getting better as long as we worked hard. We weren't dragged into direct wars. Rulers love themselves most and likely don't care about the lives of commoners, but even just by catching the crumbs, our lives became increasingly affluent. Having lived through that era, people believe that no matter how black-hearted the powerful might be, it’s impossible that they would try to inject toxins into the entire population.
Yūdai: That’s exactly what "peace-addled" means in the modern sense. People who say we should arm ourselves with nukes to avoid being attacked by other nations are also peace-addled. You can't protect citizens' lives with things like that anymore. We’re past that era. They don't realize the biggest danger factor is inside their own country. They don't understand that the most dangerous situation is when a collection of psychopaths, irresponsible conformists, and money-grubbers holds the fate of the nation.
Goro: Even among those who claim the vaccine is harmful, they split into two groups: those who say, "Calling it a tool for population reduction is a conspiracy theory, so stop it," and those who say, "Why can't you see this is a biological weapon intended for population reduction?"
Yūdai: Which one are you, Goro-kun?
Goro: At first, when I heard stories about Bill Gates funding vaccine research and the WHO to push a population reduction plan, I thought people were just having too much fun with it. But now, I’m certain there are people seriously moving forward with a population reduction plan. I have no doubt the COVID frenzy and the vaccines are related to it.
Yūdai: I suppose so.
Allan: I’m with Goro. At first, I wondered why Bill Gates suddenly appeared in the conversation, but after a little digging, it was clear as day.
Goro: (Laughs)
Allan: If you think about it, it's actually quite simple and easy to understand. With the wealth they possess, there’s almost nothing they can't do in this modern age. They control the giant media outlets and every core industry. To them, the population reduction plan is a "righteous" act being carried out rationally. They believe they are controlling human society on behalf of God to maintain the providence of nature. It’s like thinning out a cedar forest to grow high-quality timber. You can't afford to feel sorry for the cedars being cut down. It’s the same thing.
Goro: Are we just like the cedars being thinned out?
Yūdai: Precisely. It’s the relationship between the users and the used. The relationship between a lord and his soldiers in the old days was a bit different; for a lord, having more soldiers meant more power, so he wouldn't kill them needlessly. But in a peaceful world, people keep increasing. Food and underground resources decrease accordingly. If deer or boars increase and start eating crops, they are killed as "pests" to reduce their numbers... that kind of thing is done normally within human society.
Allan: But the common people don't think they are on the side being "culled." It’s "normalcy bias"—or perhaps they keep their sanity by choosing not to think that way. Maybe this is a matter for psychiatry. A kind of dementia, perhaps. Even an excellent, sharp-minded person who is admired for their character might have a gaping hole in the fundamental part of their survival instinct... a disease like that.
Goro: Ishikof-san, you’re brutal... But you’re right. It’s a reality you see if you think calmly. The ones who can't see it are those who swallow the information from TV and newspapers without question. Even when something is clearly strange or suspicious, they don't even try to verify if it’s true. Even people who collect other information from the internet likely have a bias during the stage of organizing and processing it.
Allan: Plus, the methods of "culling" have become more complex—or rather, "multi-layered"—in the modern era. It’s not visible slaughter like in the old days. That’s why, even though a massive culling operation is underway, most people don't notice.
Yūdai: There are those who feel sorry for the animals killed under the guise of "pest control," but they remain silent because they hesitate to oppose it head-on. Much less do they imagine that they themselves are in the group being culled.
Goro: It's not just the "silent majority" who don't speak up and just conform to avoid sticking out. Even people who usually say edgy things, stand out, or are seen as brilliant geniuses don't have a single doubt when it comes to the vaccine. They mock those who raise questions as "anti-vaxxers." People who used to mock others for "mindless labeling" as a trait of the unintelligent are now acting like total simpletons when it comes to the vaccine. That’s what I find completely incomprehensible.
Allan: I think some people realized halfway through and now regret it. But because they believe they are smart and have high pride, they don't want to admit they made such a simple mistake. At that point, some might be getting paid or threatened with the loss of their status and fame, and are being used as convenient influencers.
Goro: I bet there are. The people on TV who steer the masses are mostly celebrities or politicians. Celebrities and politicians are cut from the same cloth. They love the spotlight and have high pride, but they are also extremely terrified of their positions being threatened and disappearing from their specialized worlds. They’ll do anything to protect their current status. They’ll lie, and they’ll stay silent.
Allan: I don't know much about the entertainment world, but I get plenty of raw info from the world of politics and bureaucracy. Like the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare who blurted out, "I'm not getting jabbed." He got decent information quite early. He's not stupid, so he probably still hasn't gotten it. But if he told the truth, he might be killed. If he weren't in a key position, he might have chosen the self-preservation method of total silence, but once given the central post of Health Minister... well, he had to say the opposite to protect himself. That must be stressful.
Goro: What about the opposition parties? The CDP and the Communist Party were both shouting, "Where's the vaccine?!" at one point. Do they still not realize it?
Allan: Who knows. Many likely remain in a state of "suspended thinking" and "tunnel vision," but surely a few of them have figured it out by now. However, they care about their "face" as much as their self-preservation. They can't bring themselves to say, "That was a mistake, sorry. From now on, we’ll do everything to stop the vaccinations." The party lines wouldn't align anyway.
Yūdai: It’s useless to expect anything from politics. All that's left is to protect yourself.
Goro: I’ve given up on adults getting jabbed and going crazy—that can't be helped—but I feel so sorry for the children. Even around me, parents of kids who used to run around energetically say they’ve given them two shots, or a third. I finally couldn't take it and said, "Please, just stop that," and the person—who is usually mild-mannered—suddenly changed color and got angry. "If you believe in conspiracy theories like that, why don't you go around persuading the neighbors? We are letting them get it! It's none of your business what we do in our house!" they shouted... In that situation, I can't say anything. If I do, I’d risk being ostracized.
Allan: That’s how it goes. That’s why I feel I can't even unilaterally condemn the politicians or doctors who keep pushing the shots while knowing the harm. I think, "What about me?" I’m not spreading lies, and I speak up at a minimum, but I’ve lost the desire to actively persuade people. On the other hand, there are many doctors and researchers still desperately speaking out via the internet, even risking their positions and lives.
Yūdai: Thinking too much about it is bad for your health. The flow of the world won't change just because powerless people like us worry or shout. We should be grateful for the good fortune of being "unnamed weaklings" and just stick to a way of life where, at the very least, we don't tell lies.
Goro: Grateful for being "unnamed weaklings"... I see. You're right. If I were a high government official or a top bureaucrat, I might be killed if I didn't keep lying. Ah well, another depressing conversation.
Notebook of Yoji Mori, Janitor

The notebook left behind by Yoji Mori, who has taken up residence as a "janitor" at the abandoned school, is filled with interesting information and stories that may seem absurd.
Humanity is currently moving toward the "end of the world." How did this happen?
First, enjoy the environmental philosophy based on entropy theory, quantum theory, spirit-flesh dualism, and the interpretation of Genesis and Ezekiel in the Old Testament.
Then, while relearning the horrors of human history, we will get to the bottom of our modern society, which is being manipulated by fake information and information manipulation, and is pushing us toward a terminal situation.
